Excellent general math book March 24, 2002

I am using this book while attending Appalachian State University. I find this to be a great all around book and it seems to be not quite as imposing as others I have seen and used. The spiral nature of it is very handy and the you-try-it problems are very educational. Highly recommended. Besides I know quite a few of the people who helped with it. They teach here at ASU.
